Well, Brett, you've really gone and done it this time: this is a SUPERB suggestion. Two odd kanji in a perfect combination: onomatopoeic additions are a winner every time.

I would have to say 凸凹 because it sounds like it should, looks like it should and would fit together if you turned it on itself. The bonus of course, is lots of boxy goodness and onomatopoeia to boot.

電 is a pretty cool looking kanji, in fact it's one of the best ones, I reckon, though I missed her out of my run for some reason. Good choice, Will!

one of my favorites is actually 電, it's got some fundamental stroke order rules that helps me with other kanji and it just looks really cool. http://www.flickr.com/photos/headingforjapan/3777...

Hey mokudekiru, and thanks for your comments. I'm with you on 水, it is très sexy, and I really like 磁 too, the only problem with that particular gem being that it takes three days to write! I love 困, but then I think I have a real fetish for any kanji in boxes, such as 図 or 国, for example..

水 is pretty sexy.

But I also like 困る (a tree in a box = a problem?)
and 磁 because it looks cool.
